Northamptonshire Libraries and Information Service holds a large collection of maps. The biggest collection is located at Northamptonshire Central Library, but maps can also be found in libraries across the county. The collections include historic maps of the county dating from 1576, maps of the town of Northampton dating from 1610 and Ordnance Survey mapping from c.1880 to present day. Northamptonshire Central Library also holds a collection of geological and other maps of local interest.
